Resilient communities against the collapse.

My goal is to decrease the amount of suffering and death, especially caused by the collapse of civilisation.

Educate

• I write, translate and speak about the issue of community-based resilience in the context of climate catastrophe, from an anti-capitalist and anti-authoritarian perspective.

• I am running practical DIY workshops on low-tech resilience-building solutions for the urban environment (food processing and storage, emergency composting toilets, lightweight bicycle trailer etc.).

• I share my work always under the open licence, CC-BY-SA.

Advocate

I advocate self-organized, non-hierarchical communities as the best approach to the current existential threats we face.

Throughout the Global North, the political discourse is dominated by a false dichotomy between the state and the corporate actors, rendering an alienated individual powerless. Community as a collective power is largely removed from the equation.

That is why I chose my line of work to re-empower communities with appropriate technology: knowledge, skills and tangible infrastructure.

Organize

I am a co-founder of Mutual Aid Society, a community and civic association that has three goals:

For ourselves: to cultivate freedom, solidarity, help and care for each other in a space safe from harmful interference. To each person according to their needs, from each according to their abilities.

For our surrounding: helping others to face the challenges of civilization collapse.

For the world: to reduce the suffering and death of sentient beings, especially as a result of planetary all-crisis.

My life so far, in brief...

• Once upon a time: a stockbroker, e-commerce entrepreneur, pioneer (within Poland) of online software sales.

• A little later: long-time volunteer in Poland, Greece and Croatia, specializing in technical infrastructure for migrant communities and unofficial settlements.

• Currently: an employee of the Poznan Super-computing and Networking Center (e-learning, documentation analysis, project coordination). Social educator in the field of technical culture, specialty: support for vulnerable and excluded people in the face of collapse.
