Description

Flexible code for auxiliary-field quantum Monte Carlo simulations.

From the solid state to cold atomic gases to low energy nuclear physics, ALF allows you to play with different model Hamiltonians at minimal programming cost, while its predefined Hamiltonians are ideal for producing benchmarks and golden standards. The Algorithms for Lattice Fermions package has contributed to dozens of publications and counts with a growing number of developers and users.

However, research software in general and ALF in particular often relies on volunteer work and has to do without dedicated funding, which makes it hard for the code to remain FAIR — findable, accessible, interoperable and reproducible — and to reach all researchers who could benefit from it.

Your donations help us ameliorate this situation — by improving the usability of the code through projects such as pyALF and by making it more accessible to the broader community — through our tutorials, expansive documentation, and user Workshops (e.g., 2022), among other activities.
