I build sovereign tools and offer them for free.

Anti-capture. I build my own — and I build them well enough to hand on, because gifts need to be given to survive.

▎ BreathGate is the first one out. It asks for a breath before a chosen app opens, and then asks whether you still want to go in.

▎ Privacy first, structurally. It has no internet permission at all. Not a promise about what I collect — the app cannot reach the network, and you can confirm that from the manifest before you take my word for anything else. No account, no sync, no telemetry, no server. Nothing to leak, nothing to sell, and nothing that can quietly change its mind in a later version.

▎ Built for real use — I'm user zero. Everything in it is there because I used it and something was wrong: the movement was flat, the sound was too bright, the words landed on top of each other at the worst possible moment. It gets fixed because I'm standing in it too.

▎ GPL-3, deliberately. What moves through can be transmitted; it cannot be owned. A permissive licence would let someone enclose this, add the tracking it refuses, and sell it back to you. Copyleft is how stays open becomes a fact instead of a hope.

▎ This is one thread of a wider practice — tools, workshops, and a way of working that treats sovereignty as something you build rather than something you're granted. The software is the part I can put in your hands today.
