Hi, I'm Matthew. I make vegan-themed apparel under IronVeganCo using heat transfer vinyl and full-color inkjet transfers, and printed designs under Obsquidian. Everything comes out of the same place: vegan ethics, anarchist politics, and a stubborn belief that people should be able to build small things for themselves instead of working for someone else's profit.

I'm 26, transgender, and I live with my parents in Jacksonville, Florida. That wasn't the plan. I dropped out of community college at 18, left home at 19 and spent a few years living semi-independently in punk and anarchist spaces, and then a severe psychotic episode in 2023 put me back where I started. I'm working on getting out again. Disability benefits aren't realistically available to me, and conventional full-time work has never been something I could sustain, so I'm building something smaller and slower instead.
