Statement
OwnTracks are apps and software which enable you to keep track of your own location. You can build your private location diary or share it with your family and friends. OwnTracks is open-source and uses open protocols for communication so you can be sure your data stays secure and private.
We're a small team of people who invest their free time to create software, write documentation, and support users by answering questions.
Development is pro bono, but we would appreciate contributions to keep us motivated to continue providing upgrades, support, documentation, answering questions, and even possibly implementing new features requested by our users. As we have no idea how many users actually utilize our software (there's no "phoning home" at all in our apps) we hope also herewith to be encouraged to continue.
