Free, open source, end-to-end encrypted messaging — no ads, no tracking, no lock-in.
Description
Hi, I'm Thomas, an independent developer building free and open source software, starting with FreeSpeech: a peer-to-peer, end-to-end encrypted messaging app with a multi-server architecture. Anyone can run their own relay, so nobody has to trust a single company with their conversations.

Everything I publish is released under the AGPL-3.0-or-later license. There are no ads, no data harvesting, and no paywall on the core software. Privacy tools should be available to everyone, not only to those who can pay for them.
Where your donations go
Building and maintaining software like this has real costs, which until now have come out of my own pocket:
- Maintenance and security: bug fixes, dependency updates, code audits, answering issues.
- Infrastructure: hosting the relay and push servers, website and downloads, domain names, TLS and backups.
- App store fees: Apple Developer Program, Google Play and Microsoft Store accounts, required to ship the apps to ordinary users.
- Development costs: iOS build and test hardware, test devices, and the tools needed to build and publish on each platform.
- New features and documentation: bilingual (English/French) documentation, new platforms and long-term support.
Why support this work?
Free software only stays free and independent if the people who use it help sustain it. Every contribution, even a small recurring one, keeps the servers running, gets the apps onto the stores, and gives me more time to improve the project.
If FreeSpeech is useful to you, thank you for helping keep private communication free and open.
