I'm a writer, writing fiction and nonfiction that gives a voice to the blind and visually impaired community. And, by extension, the broader disability community.

My fiction includes blind and visually impaired characters as well as LGBT+ characters. My nonfiction tackles disability stories mainstream reporters won’t cover seriously.

Aside from being a writer, I'm a really fierce disability advocate.

I have no mainstream support. My support, and funding, comes directly from the communities I'm constantly advocating for. I'm not employed by a single news organization. I operate on a purely freelance and independent basis, which is why your donations are critical for me to continue to do this kind of work.
