Free and open-source Android apps to protect your privacy on the mobile network.
Description
Hi, I'm Alexis, a self-taught developer from Pamplona, Spain.
I make two free and open-source Android apps to protect your privacy on the mobile network:
- ICdetection watches your phone's connection to cell towers and warns you about anomalous behaviour that could point to a fake base station (IMSI catcher).
- CellCase turns ICdetection's exports into verifiable PDF reports, with a plain-language version for people without telecom knowledge and a full technical one.
How they are built: - No ads, no analytics and no tracking. - All data stays on your phone. - Public source code on GitHub and a reproducible build: anyone can verify the app is exactly the published code. - They are honest about what they can and cannot detect.
I develop them in my free time, with a lot of care and many hours. If they have been useful to you and you would like to support their improvement, any contribution, however small, means a lot to me. And if you can't, starring them on GitHub or reporting a bug helps a lot too.
Thanks for stopping by.
