ANT/Lybid is a general purpose, Windows NT inspired OS, I develop as passion. ANT is the kernel name, Lybid is the whole OS name. It targets x64, ia32 and arm64 computers. It's going to be an SMP/HMP multiuser OS with preemptive thread dispatching. Efficiency is the main priority. Written in C and assembly. Planned is to support 2 APIs - WinAPI like one, the main, and POSIX compatible. Note, Lybid doesn't aim to be binary compatible with Windows, as this would be an infeasible challenge for a single developer project.

I had a small target park, consisting of a few arm Single Board Computers, but I lost it, together with our home, I am from Bachmut, the city in the Eastern Ukraine, that russians brutally destroyed, as many other ones. We had to flee from home, hastily, at the risk of being killed. Now, we live in a rented appartment, as internal refugees in a Kyiv suburb, under consant missile and drone attacks and all our humble earnings go to living needs and saving - we yet have to buy home and so I can't afford buying even a tiny arm SBC for the project. All I could buy for the last 3 years was a nice second hand laptop from 2011 - Dell Latitude E6420, I bought it for 44$ on a local store. Your support thus will help with getting an arm board for testing and also would allow me to dedicate to the project more time. Maybe one day it becomes a thing. As of now, the loader can jump into the kernel and now we need to add more to the latter for completing initialization and starting deployment the user mode environment for running user programs.
