Haiku, Inc is the 501(c)(3) non-profit that supports the development of the Haiku Operating System.

Haiku is an open-source operating system that specifically targets personal computing. Inspired by the BeOS, Haiku is fast, simple to use, easy to learn and yet very powerful.

Haiku, Inc holds the copyright to much of the Haiku source code, maintains the trademarks for the Haiku logo and wordmark, and pays for the infrastructure that helps support development of the system.

Haiku is seeking funding to hire developers to help us make our first official release, R1.
