I develop free software to fill gaps and to make things a little better. Since I'm a system administrator, most of the gaps and problems I see are related to command-line tools, system management, and ticketing systems. These are some of my projects:

• Pipe Viewer (pv) - a pipeline progress meter and data flow manipulation tool
• XYZ - lightweight cross-platform tool to check for, and correct, common configuration and security faults
• Unix Admin Compatibility Tool - unified interface to service and package management, across multiple Linux and Unix variants
• Scheduled Command Wrapper - extends cron jobs with improved logging, collision avoidance, and many other features
• Parmo - for building OS packages (.deb, .rpm) from source and maintaining repositories, for multiple OSes at once
• Quick Spam Filter - a small, fast, and effective Bayesian filter for classifying email spam
• Continual Sync - rsync and inotify based tool to keep duplicates of directory trees continually in sync
• RT TOTP MFA - a Request Tracker extension implementing multi-factor authentication using time-dependent one-time passcodes
• RT FilterRules - a Request Tracker extension to filter tickets through rule sets
• RT TemplateTickets - a Request Tracker extension to allow tickets to be used as templates for new tickets
• RT ShareSearchLink - a Request Tracker extension for shorter shareable links for ticket searches
• RT NewTicketFromCorrespondence - a Request Tracker extension for creation of new tickets based on correspondence on an existing ticket
• RT PinComment - a Request Tracker extension for ticket comment pinning
• RT EmailReplyDelimiter - a Request Tracker extension to strip text from emails after a delimiter
• Term::VT102 - a VT102 emulation Perl module
