Free and open-source software
Description
I write open-source code :-) My currently most popular project is Tasksched -- an opinionated task scheduling UI for Taskwarrior with a very useful browser new tab page.
All software I write (outside of work) will always be free, ad-free, and open-source, because I want as many people as possible to benefit from my work. At the same time, I am a student working part-time to support myself and be able to finish my studies. The time that goes into FOSS development is time I am not spending making money. Therefore I am currently discouraged from doing open-source. If it is possible to balance the scales a bit more in favor of FOSS development, I will be able to do more of it and someone out there (you, for example) will hopefully find my work useful.
